Carrie Baron, Owner/Founder

With over twenty-five years of experience in other architect's offices and a desire to focus on residential and commercial remodel projects, Carrie set out on her own in 2012 and opened Carrie Baron Architect. Born and raised in a close suburb of Chicago, she moved to Denver in 2003. She earned her stripes by working on both resort and multifamily projects at a few large firms in Denver. She attended Clemson University, earning a Master of Architecture by diving into her love of urban history and the tension between modern architecture and preservation, writing her thesis exploring 'Persistence in Architecture' sited in Charleston, SC. Prior to her continuing education, she worked for four years at Aumiller Youngquist, PC, a restaurant and hospitality firm in Chicago. Here she discovered her passion of retrofits and renovations, especially while working on Emmett's Brewery in West Dundee Illinois, her first project as an architectural intern, from start to finish including finishes, fixtures, and equipment. Carrie received her Bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
